neXtPlease! Gaming came out on top of the third season of the Romanian eSports Championship following a 2-1 victory over The Elder Gods in the final. Held at Turbohalle, the same location as DreamHack Bucharest, the ReC 3 finals featured the top four sides from the 40 who had taken part in the online season. Romanian teams have only recently switched to CS:GO, and with this being the first LAN tournament in this game in the country, there was a lot of anticipation as the fans were curious about which side can be called the strongest. The Elder Gods, boasting a lineup with former 1.6 players like Cosmin "WHitE" Cetanas and Daniel "k1d0r" Paka, progressed to the final after moving past I Got Game, while neXtPlease!, who feature just two players from the team who attended Copenhagen Games, saw INtenSe off.
In the tournament decider, TeG got off the brighter and ran out 16-9 victors on de_dust2_se, but then neXtPlease! picked themselves up and secured two narrow 16-14 victories on de_nuke_se and de_mirage_go to turn the tie around. Broken tag Romanian eSports Championship 3 Final Standings:
